Chris Sporck is a seasoned semiconductor executive and active investor with a focus on early-stage startups across fintech, electronics, and green energy. He combines deep technical expertise in battery systems and power electronics with over a decade of hands-on investing and portfolio management experience.

Chris has spent more than 15 years building and commercializing battery management technology in the semiconductor industry. He held key roles at Summit Microelectronics (acquired by Qualcomm), where he advanced battery charger technology, and later led the PMIC systems engineering group at Qualcomm. He currently oversees the battery management product line at Monolithic Power Systems. He is the inventor on over 20 U.S. patents.

As an angel investor, Chris has backed over 30 startups, with multiple successful exits, and brings founders strategic insight, technical depth, and access to a broad professional network. Chris believes in “paying it forward” by providing founders insight to improve their products, connections to investors and customers. Beyond venture investing, he actively manages public equity, fixed income, real estate, and private equity investments for his family, and has additional expertise in estate planning and tax strategy.

Chris holds a degree in Operations Research Engineering from Cornell University and a professional certification in Power Electronics from the University of Colorado. He is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs who combine technical excellence with relentless execution.
